Visakhapatnam: Laying thrust on using technology to transform governance, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched e-Pragati, an enterprise digital platform which will integrate all government departments and ministries that provide citizen services here on Friday. E-Pragati has been dev-eloped by the IT giant Wipro. The first phase of the services will be available by early November and all the services by September 2017. At the launch, Mr Naidu explained how using technology can save money. He said by using the E-Pass, in the Public Distribution System, government could plug the gaps and was able to save around Rs 1,500 crore per annum. He added within the months, every household in the state will have 15 mbps bandwidth connectivity.
