The other highlights of the whiteboard are a built-in camera, speakers and capability to recognise up to 16 simultaneous touch inputs. Asia's Startups Need More From Their Co-Working Spaces

Most of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley started either in a garage or a shared office. For startups, however, spending money on expensive offices can be the death of the business. So from corporate serviced offices to cool co-working spaces, the startup community has seen a transformation of the workplace in the past five years. Many will point to the benefits of co-working, which include lower set up costs than setting up your own premises for business and the networking opportunities. Co-working does aim to help entrepreneurs connect to other entrepreneurs, but in many of the co-working spaces I have worked in across the world, most of my fellow entrepreneurs prefer being in their own office. Whilst test driving We Work in San Francisco, I observed that rarely did founders speak to other founders and very little collaboration was actually carried out. Spaces in the open office setting, where collaboration is intended to take place, was often noisy, and most of the time,

Tech/Biz: What's The Ideal Length For Your Business' Digital Content?

I recently got a LinkedIn message from a product developer based in Singapore. He mentioned he just launched a training aggregator mobile app and was now working on a content strategy for his company’s blog. He asked me, ”What’s the ideal length for my business’ digital content?” It’s a question I’ve been asked many times by startups in Asia. Here’s the advice I gave him. Before you dive into how long your content should be, ask yourself three simple questions: Who is my audience? What are their pain points? How does my business help? Once you’ve answered those questions, start by defining your audiences in terms of  personas . (Not sure where to start? HubSpot offers a  free buyer personas template .) Now put yourself in your personas’ shoes. What kind of content would solve their pain points or interest them? Let’s say your target audience are busy CEOs. They’re likely interested in topline insights and best practices rather than long-form whitepapers. (At least,

Tech: Meizu M3 Max Review: Insanely Good Value At $250

One thing I’ve learned since I began covering consumer tech this year is that marketing + clever packaging bring hype. And once you have all three together, you can get away with selling the product at jacked up prices, as long as the product isn’t terrible. When I first got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 almost two months ago — back before the fires began and when every U.S. media was throwing every superlative praise at the phone — I made a  YouTube video  ranting about how, while the Note 7 was very nicely built, it wasn’t that much better built than Chinese phones that sold for half the price, like the OnePlus 3 or the Meizu MX6. I made a similar video  with the iPhone 7 Plus. My point is that, western tech media often act like Apple and Samsung (can add Google to the mix now, with the latest batch of Pixel reviews) craft the best “premium” hardware that are heads and shoulders above everyone else, when in reality, every 2016 flagship phone, regardless if it was des
